Lucis College Ltd was formed in 1998.
We are members of ACHO, the Affiliation of Crystal Healing Organisations, which in 1988 agreed a core curriculum now taught by more than 20 schools in the UK.
Lucis College Ltd is a National Open College Network Centre
The Certificate course is approved by the Complementary Therapists Association (linked to Embody)as a Core Therapy at 30 credits. We also teach an FHT (Federation of Holistic Therapists) accredited post graduate course for therapists.
This course covers the core curriculum as laid down by ACHO and enables students to practice as Crystal Therapists as well as part-qualified practitioner status with ACHO and the option of inclusion on their professional register. Students can also obtain insurance to practice professionally on successful completion of this level.
The course consists of 6 x 2 day sessions which take place every 6 weeks or so as agreed with the group. Information and work packs are provided and students work toward compiling a portfolio which can then be submitted to Open College Network for external accreditation.
Students are also able to continue to study crystals for a further 12 days in order to obtain full membership status.

The basic make-up of the earth (core, mantle etc.)
The main crystal system and crystal formations , chemical formula etc.
The Moh's scale, basic care of crystals, working with crystal placements
Health & Safety and Code of Conduct
Module 2— Introduction To Working With Crystals
Choosing and caring for crystals,
Dedicating and energising crystals
Attuning to crystals and working with crystals on deeper levels
Further crystal placements.
Module 3—Subtle Energy Systems Of The Body
Functions and symptoms of dysfunctions of the Chakras
Using crystals with Chakras
Meridians, Auras and Subtle Bodies
Module 4—Practicalities of Healing
Preparing yourself and your client for the treatment
Aftercare advice
Keeping accurate records
Absent Healing and Self Healing techniques
Module 5— Crystal Healing
. Grounding, Centreing and Protection of the subtle energy system
Visualisation Techniques
Stress Management strategies
Space clearing and personal energy integrity.
Module 6—Revision & Free Choice
This module includes a session where students are encouraged to treat clients and revision evaluation session
